I have put up the updated rankings after round 2 of GFA ranking competitions.

I have included points for those fencers competing overseas during the Boland Open. ME, MF and WE are affected.

Here is some information on the 2010 World Veterans Championships in Porec, Croatia. They also have a website.

VERY IMPORTANT: For those of you running competitions, please revert back to using Engarde 8. All freeware Engarde 9 programs have now been locked. I cannot export ranking information out of Engarde 9 any more so it makes updating rankings very time-consuming. I have to do everything manually now. I have put up the Engarde 8 installation and English language pack files if anyone needs them. If SAAFA purchases Engarde 9 licenses and distributes them, this will not be necessary. Until then, please use Engarde 8. There is very little functionality difference between the two version.

I would like to appeal to the various competition organisers to please email me the national ranking competition files as soon as possible after the competition has finished. The sooner I get them, the sooner the rankings are updated. I have also archived all national ranking competitions run on Engarde since 1996, so it would be a pity to lose some history. Same for competition entry forms. I would also like to appeal to the various clubs to please send me any corrections for misspelt names, or fencers who have moved clubs. Most importantly, please send me the date of birth for any junior (cadet/minim....) fencer who has a 0 displayed for their date of birth in the rankings. There is a feature for removing fencers from ranking lists when they are too old for a certain age group, but this does not work if the date of birth is not known. If seniors would like to have their date of birth on the rankings, please send them to me (if any seniors would like their date of birth removed, I can make a plan for you).
